Were your recipes formulated by a nutritionist?
✓Yes! A distinguishing difference between Dinkwads and your local butcher is that all of our recipes were formulated by a PhD animal nutritionist with over 15 years of experience in raw feeding and animal nutrition. We’ve taken every step to ensure the highest quality food while incorporating 100% of the nutrients your dog needs.
How should I get my dog started?

Can I feed kibble and Dinkwads?
✓Yes. While we always recommend feeding 100% raw to see the full benefits of a raw diet, we of course support the idea that some fresh raw is better than none.
Should I add anything to my dog's We Feed Raw Meals?
✓Our food is designed to be complete and balanced for dogs of all life stages, so it's not necessary to add anything to your pet's food.
Can I cook the food?
✓We don't recommend cooking the food, as this defeats the purpose of feeding a fresh raw diet and all the bioavailable nutrients that come with it. That being said, it is fine to sear the meat gently if you have a picky pet.
How many days will my food stay fresh?
✓Our food will stay good in your refrigerator for up to 4 days.
How long does the food take to thaw?
✓Our meal plan packets take about 12-16 hours to thaw in the fridge. You can put multiple in at a time so you always have one ready!
What is your delivery radius?
✓Our delivery service will be roughly a 25 mile radius around Pittsburgh. Being a small business, we would love to accommodate anyone interested (even if you're slightly outside the radius!).
