Chef Andy's Story

With a focused background in MarTech, I have always been driven to analyze and solve complex problems—especially when it comes to the ones I love most.

Enter Dexter, my 9-year-old English Lab who wakes up every day loving life. When he developed persistent allergy symptoms despite a prescription diet, I felt helpless watching him struggle. After two years of little improvement, I started experimenting with whole foods and discovered he thrived on a raw diet with real ingredients.

But I couldn't find dog food that met my standards—just clever marketing, mystery "special blends," and confusing labels. All I wanted was quality food with transparency around ingredients.

So I made it myself. Every ingredient in Dinkwads™ is chosen for a specific nutritional purpose, and made in part with our Pittsburgh community.

My commitment is and will always be ingredients with continual improvement, and we're excited to share that with you.
